Millions of web sites crowd the Internet and you want to join the fun but don't know how or where to begin? This course, based on the popular series written by VU instructor Jean Engel, will teach you how to build a basic, visually appealing web page. By the end of this course, you'll have a "home on the web" that you can be proud of!
Weekly lessons will guide students through the steps of learning a combination of HTML 3.2 and 4.01 tags to add text, color, graphics, lists, and tables to web pages, and uploading finished pages to the World Wide Web. Basic rules of web design will also be covered. The course will include instruction, assignments, and a collection of convenient links to useful HTML resources.
Curriculum: 5 week course, instructor-led. No textbook required. No prerequisites.
