In this intermediate course, the VU HTML Team gurus will present an extensive collection of web design techniques and tools that can be used to add more "zing" to your website. This course is for students who have a working knowledge of HTML basics and have obtained a passing grade on HTML 1: Web Design for Beginners. Indepth weekly lessons provide step-by-step guidelines for adding complex tables, frames, digital images, image maps, Javascript, forms, and an introduction to copy and paste Java applets. In addition, the class will explore principles of good web design for using the techniques discussed in this course to create custom web pages. Curriculum: Five week course. No textbook required. Prerequisites: Students must have a working knowledge of HTML 3.2. Beginning HTML topics will not be covered. Students must also have a website where homework can be posted for review.
