eMail is a quick, cheap, and easy way to communicate with anyone, anytime, anywhere in the world. Yet, it is also a frequent source of misunderstandings. Because you cannot see or hear the person on the other end, typos and poor grammar can turn an eMail message into a muddled missive, and joking remarks may be taken as insults. And what about those thorny legal questions...Is eMail copyrighted? Who owns your eMail? Can an employer read your eMail? This short course will help you learn to write effective eMail, and navigate the slippery slope so that your eMail won't come back to haunt you. This is a "must take" course for anyone who uses eMail to communicate in the workplace, at school, or at home.
