Aspiring writers, students, and those who want to get ahead on the job must know the basic rules of English grammar to communicate effectively with others. Poor grammar can lead to poor grades in school, missed promotions at work, and is the leading reason why writers' manuscripts are rejected by editors. This is Part 2 of a three-part workshop offering a crash course in the rules of basic grammar. This unit focuses on Word Usage. By the end of the course, students will be able to identify and correct commonly misused syntax and to produce grammatically correct writing that sparkles with clarity.

Curriculum: Four week course. No prerequisites. No textbook is required for this course.
