This is Part Two of a two-part course on the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita , an ancient Sanskrit text that captures the essence of sacred Hindu writings, and of Hindu philosophy. This classic text describes different paths to realising God and shows how they are similar. It is widely revered by Hindus as the Song (Word) of God.
In this second course, Satya Sarada Kandula picks up where Part One left off, covering Chapters 9 through 18 of the Bhagavad Gita. This part of the Gita talks about Bhakthi Yoga, the way of devotion about Krishna, Nature and different kinds of Seekers and Faiths.
Curriculum: Five-week course, instructor-led. No textbook required. Links to several popular online versions of The Bhagavad Gita will be provided to supplement the chapters covered in each lesson.
Prerequisites: Please note that Part One of this course, Introduction to the Bhagavad Gita, must be completed before enrolling in this class.
