Welcome, Knowledge Surfer! This is the new launch page for free classes at Virtual University.
Knowledge Surfer is an innovative new learning tool developed for Virtual
University. It is a "widget" — a small but powerful application that
provides a direct interface to free courses at VU and a convenient link to
your own VU desk. This widget is portable, so you can easily embed it on your
blog or any web page!
To get started, just click the Log In tab.
If you have a VU desk, the widget will recognize
you and log you in automatically! To access the free course,
click the Classroom tab and
choose the lesson that you want to view (New lessons will be posted each week).
If you are using a public computer (at your school or library, for instance)
be sure to click the Log Out tab when you are
finished. If you are the
only user on this computer, it's OK to stay logged in to your VU desk.
