Jannetta LaMort authored the course Stepping Stones to Organic
Gardening, and she currently mentors the course. She has been gradening
organically for many years, has published magazine articles on the subject, and
she is currently involved with community garden and school programs advocating organic
gardening.
Jannetta resides in New Jersey and has many interests which include her "day
job" in interactive marketing, freelance graphic and web design, writing courses
for VU, occasional folk dancing, Latin studies, and reading the classics mixed
with a good mystery. She says she was raised in Northern California, where she
spent most of her youth bent over rows of beans and squash in the hot sun thanks
to her father's love of gardening. She inherited her interest in organic
gardening from her mother's insistence on meddling with his planting ideas!
