Share your knowledge with a vast audience of eager learners across the global village — teach an online class at Virtual University or write a "self-guided" course where students learn at their own pace. We're actively seeking new courses in the following areas:

  • Self-help/self-improvement courses of all kinds
  • Health and Wellness (how to live longer, healthier)
  • Psychology, positive thinking, powers of the mind
  • Philosophy, ethics, religion
  • Spirituality, psychic development, meditation
  • Hobbies, crafts, leisure activities
  • Writing and the Arts
  • Journalism, creative writing, getting published
  • Grammar, Composition, writing essays
  • Writing fiction, nonfiction, sci-fi, news reporting
  • ESL (English As A Second Language) courses
  • Poetry, memoirs, personal journaling
  • Music, art, and graphics courses
  • General / Academic Subjects
  • Politics, cultures, global issues, current events
  • Math, science, history, geography
  • Personal finance, investing, retiring

  • Most VU courses run five weeks. Classes should be designed as "self-guided" so that students can learn at their own place, but you are welcome to participate in class discussion and answer students' questions on the classroom bulletin board as your time permits.

    As explained in our Helpful Guidelines FAQ above, we offer a small honorarium of $200US  for courses that we accept. You may request that this stipend be paid to you or donated to your favorite charity. Please check one of the following boxes to indicate your preference:

      Make a donation in my name to my favorite charity (type name and mailing address below)
      Donate to VU Global Outreach Fund (provides free classes to financially disadvantaged students)
