This 7-week college-level course covers a wide range of topics, including the history of advertising, how to create ads, interpreting ads, depicting race, class, gender and sexuality in advertising, sex and selling, and the future of advertising. Weekly lectures will discuss theoretical frameworks and apply them to specific ads.
